Creative Writer
Autumn Miller knew she wanted to be a writer at the age of three when she wrote and illustrated her first book with her Grandmother called, “Christine the Pig”. Her love continued on through High School where she wrote several short stories for her friends. It wasn’t until her mid-twenties that she decided to enroll at Full Sail University where she earned her BFA in Creative Writing.
Autumn always had a soft spot for fantasy. She read it religiously growing up and dreamt up magical worlds to escape to when she was alone. Getting a younger audience to start reading had always been important to her. That’s why her writing is geared towards a younger audience.
Comic books were always a passion of Autumn’s and have been for the last decade. Writing unique storylines is what she’s most focused on. She hopes to avoid the superhero scene and do something more avant-garde. She recently started writing her own series set in a steam punk world and has several more in the making.
Her short science fiction story, “The Travelers”, was published in Voluted Tales’ April/May 2014 issue. This has fueled her desire to be published. She has several short stories sent out awaiting replies. Autumn is currently working on her first fantasy novel set in another dimension called Lergia. It blends the human world with fantasy. This series has been twelve years in the making. She hopes to be finished and in search of an Agent by early 2015.
